A documentary road movie with musical elements about the journey of a Ukrainian Christmas tradition to the frontline.
At the center of the story are Cultural Forces servicemembers who, during Christmas, embark on a multi-day mission along the frontline roads of northern, eastern, and southern Ukraine. Along with musical instruments, they bring a vertep, the Bethlehem Light, and caroling — not as a holiday ritual, but as a way to restore to soldiers a sense of home, memory, and the life they are fighting for today.
