Games and game jams where players learn to identify and unpack enemy information operations through firsthand experience rather than lectures. Each game takes 15–20 minutes to complete.
The project teaches players to recognize manipulation through hands-on experience. Players find themselves inside an information operation — they see a thread of messages, headers and comments that resembles a real one. They must react immediately. This forms a skill through practice rather than through a lecture about how disinformation works.
The format has two tracks. First one is a series of in-house 15–20-minute training games developed by the laboratory and suitable for use at training centers. Second one consists of game jams for developers, during which teams create anti-disinformation games over a weekend.
The scenarios are based on materials from Cultural Forces analysts, making the in-game cases real-world examples.
