Visual identity and installation for the Ukrainian pavilion at the Frankfurt Book Fair, based on Vasyl Krychevsky’s ornaments and dedicated to writers who were killed.
The visual identity for the Ukrainian national pavilion at the Frankfurt Book Fair was developed around ornaments by Vasyl Krychevsky, emphasizing Ukraine’s connection to the European artistic tradition. An important part of the exhibition was an installation dedicated to the memory of Ukrainian military writers who were killed, highlighting the price of freedom and the losses suffered by the intellectual elite.
The stand brought together 300+ publications from 35 Ukrainian publishers, serving as a platform for more than 30 discussions and presentations of Ukrainian books on the global stage.
