Historically, Ukraine lacked a single space that represented and honored all components of its Security and Defense Forces. “Ukrainian Armed Forces Alley”, located in the square beneath the Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian People, fills this gap: here, the public can learn about the structure of the military, while military units ceremonially mark their professional holidays. The avenue is creating a new culture of commemoration and building a visible bridge of respect between the Defense Forces and society.
