A competition for the children of State Guard of Ukraine service members, concluding with a Statehood Day concert featuring Cultural Forces ensembles and an exhibition of the children’s work.
The competition gave the children of State Guard of Ukraine service members a stage for their own voices, and gave their families a chance to spend time together away from the pressures of service. The participants’ performances were accompanied by an exhibition of children’s work, and the project closed with a Statehood Day concert. For Cultural Forces, this is a way to work with military families and to strengthen the community across different forces and branches through creative work. The format has been tested and can be repeated.
