59 ORCHESTRA

Organizing public motivational events in home front communities.

The 59 Orchestra was named in honor of the 59th Separate Motorized Brigade “Yakiv Handziuk”.

The orchestra’s primary mission is to organize public motivational events in home front communities. A special program — a national-patriotic musical — is aimed at increasing civilian motivation to join the military.

During the performance, there are no direct calls for mobilization, which prevents it from being perceived as propagandistic or forceful. The goal of the musical is to plant the idea of joining the fight within the audience on their own terms.

The band's repertoire includes both traditional and modern versions of Lemko and insurgent songs, all in contemporary, original arrangements. This makes the 59 Orchestra stand out from other military bands, which often replicate Soviet musical practices.
